Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate Lawyer to join our growing team in Limassol.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Preparation and review of contracts, resolutions, power of attorneys, legal opinions and any other legal document related to department.
- Handling, monitoring and dealing with all aspects of corporate transactions.
- Ability to advise and issue opinions on corporate and commercial law as well as related fields of law and matters.
- Up to date with all the changes in the laws and regulations in several jurisdictions.
- Ensuring compliance with AML regulations.
- Coordinating and performing regulatory filings, procedures, and legal opinions.
- Evaluating and monitoring the compliance of our customers with all applicable regulatory and legislative provisions.
- AML/Risk Assessment by using our software.
- Providing advice and guidance to the employees of the firm regarding the AML regulations.
Qualifications & Skills
- University Degree in Law.
- LL.M (Master of Laws) will be considered an advantage.
- Member of the Cyprus Bar Association.
- Three years of experience in a Law Firm in Corporate/Compliance matters.
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office.
- Fluent in English and Greek (both oral and written).
- Understanding of confidentiality rules and non-disclosure policies.
- Responsible, attentive to details, accurate, positive and supportive.
- Excellent communication skills and organizational skills.
- Ability to work and report under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
- Must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, ambitious and a team player.
